Peter M. Gargano Scholarship Fund

In memory of Pete Gargano, Ulland Brothers, Inc. is funding the Peter M. Gargano Scholarship, first established by his wife.  Pete Gargano came to work with Ulland Brothers, Inc. on May 14, 1969, supervising the construction of St. Louis County #7 at Forbes, the Range Expressway near Chisholm, Highway 73 near Kinmount as well as many other projects.  He was always interested in helping people develop their skills and worked hard at offering a chance for people to learn.  All valued Pete’s advice and council as a Director and Vice President.  Pete enjoyed life and contributed much to the continued enjoyment for others right up to his untimely death, November 16, 1983.

The purpose of the Peter M. Gargano Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to the children of the employees of Ulland Brothers for post-secondary education; including colleges, universities and vocational schools.  The student’s financial need is of prime concern to the Scholarship Committee, along with the student’s school record.  One scholarship of $2,000 will be  awarded each year.
