Meet Traci “Bubbles” Emerson! She originally came to work for Ulland Brothers when her father Bruce Emerson was a grading superintendent and he got her a “summer job”. Here she is 30 years later and still loving the hard work, which ensures her a good wage and benefits! Traci started out flagging before joining the 49ers, doing everything from dumping trucks on the mainline paving crew to operating rubber tire roller and eventually finish roller. Traci said that she works with a great crew, which is like a second family to her and she loves to see the finished product when it is completed. One of her favorite projects was the Albert Lea Airport, where the job entailed a complex rolling pattern, meeting hard density requirements. Traci enjoys spending her time with family and traveling to Mexico with friends in the off season.
